Access Granted: The Cool Kids Shopping

Streetcosignor was taking some candid shots of The Cool Kids while they were shopping at Goliath stores in NYC. We had a great time with guys, they were shopping like there was no tomorrow. Me and LaFemme were so tempted to shop but we had to fallback cuz we were there to work not to shop LOL. Tee Smiff from BET rap city was also in the building filming the guys shopping etc..

Access Granted: The Roots " Rising up" video

This week The Roots were shooting their video "Rising up" feat Wale & Chrisette Michelle in NYC (Beauty Bar). My plan was to just take pictures of the shoot , but i ended up dancing in the video some how LOL. I had a great time hanging out on the set and being part of the dance scene.
I also enjoyed my mini concert by The Roots , Wale and Chrisette Michelle. Shout out to Rik Cordero for directing the video and Fetti for inviting me to the set.

Access Granted: Wale & RhymeFest

StreetCosignor and BET rap city joined couple of weeks ago to check out Wale & RhymeFest at Mark Ronson's studio. This was my first time meeting these two guys and i had a blast. Wale talked about his upcoming mixtape, the music industry and how great his music career is going. Rhymefest spoke to us about his new projects , the state of hip hop and how he feels about candidate Barack Obama. It was pretty cool watching these two guys freestyle and getting it popping in the studio.  Both Wale & Rhymefest would like for you guys to watch out for their new albums coming out soon. "Mixtape about nothing" By Wale and "El che" By Rhymefest.
Thanx to Tee.Smif for making this exciting day happen.

Let the Church say Amen!

My blog caters to music of all kind. I've been hearing a buzz thru the net about a Japnese Gospel Choir who truly sings from their soul. I gotta call from my girl Christal(wuddup) who tipped me off that they were gonna be in New York. So I took a trip to Haven International Ministries home of Overseer Richard Hartley. It was such a great concert that 90% of the audience couldn't sit down! There I got to enjoy beautiful gospel music. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mariah Carey's vocal coach Melanie Daniels(whose vocal cords will put Ms. Carey's to shame any day), & Dr. Edwin Hawkins who is known for his smashing hit "Oh Happy Day", as well as the Infamous Tokyo Mass Choir that was mentioned earlier.
