TV On The Radio, Public Enemy & Others Set For 'Roots Picnic'
According to David Prince of New york, TV on the Radio, Public Enemy, the Black Keys, and Santigold were handpicked by The Roots to play the band's second annual hometown "Roots Picnic" at the Festival Pier in Philadelphia on June 6. The Roots will perform two sets, opening and closing the festival. It runs from 2:00pm to 11:00pm.
Several performers like the Pipes featuring Zoe Kravitz and Busdriver will play sets along with DJs Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff; spinning sets in between the bands. Many other bands will be performing so mark your calendars for this event.
